Chabad Chassidim Meet With Satmar Rebbe

Chief Rabbi Yeshayahu Herzl of Natzeret Illit and his son-in-law Rabbi Yosef Chaim Rosenblatt, Chief Rabbi of the Lower Galilee, met today with the Satmar Rebbe from Monroe, NY during his visit to northern Israel.

The conversation focused on the family relationship between them, as they are all descendants of the Yismach Moshe.

The Satmar Rebbe also mentioned that he is descended from the Alter Rebbe and the Mitteler Rebbe.

The meeting was held at the home of askan Rabbi Dovid Darley of Teverya.
