SHMAIS.com has learned that Chevra Ahavas Yisroel of Crown Heights is set to sign a contract to buy a new property to serve as their new Shul. The building, located on Albany Ave between Eastern parkway and Lincoln, is a semi attached brick 4 family, featuring 2,500 sq ft on a  0.06 acres lot. It has been on the market for a couple years now with a listing price of $690,000.

According to our source, Chevra Ahavas Yisroel, led by Rabbi Chezzi Denebeim, which sees a crowd of nearly 200 k"ah on Friday night for kabolas Shabbos @ its current location in the basement of 1349 President St. is purchasing the new property for $600K.

On Monday night, a meeting with the fundraising committee was held to discuss how to raise money. Among those attending were: Rabbi Denebeim, Mickey Ettelson, Levi Capland, Mendy Cohen and Zalman Wuensch.
