The Rebbe's Advice #838 - Museum Skeletons

Posted Tuesday, Feb 21 2012 11:39pm in Chabad News, Rebbe's Advice

In memory of Rabbi Gavriel & Rebbetzin Rivkah Holtzberg HYD - Shluchim to Mumbai, India

A yeshiva administrator sent the Rebbe a picture of his students visiting a museum. In the background of the picture you see human skeletons. The Rebbe commented: Among the students there are Kohanim. If there are human skeletons you need to ask a rav which part of the building they are permitted in and which they are forbidden. If the skeletons aren’t real rather plastic, it needs to be known so that it won’t cause halachic problems.
