The state religious Chabad girls’ school in Rechovot that only opened this year has decided to change its name to Ohel Chaya Mushka in honor of Chof Beis Shevat.

The school presently has 87 students and it opened this year to cater to the needs of Chabad girls in Rechovot in the surrounding area. Every year, the school will increase by another class.

The school is unique in its education towards yiras Shomayim and in Chassidus and good middos, and its educational standards are known to be high.

The top-level educational staff is led by Principal Tzipi Balgowsky and her deputy Penina Katz. Its curriculum includes enrichment courses in a variety of subjects, including music lessons, art, and the kosher kitchen.

The school will soon be moving to a permanent home at the site of the former Maalot Meshulam school.
