Hundreds of Women Pay Tribute to Shifra VePuah in Tzefat

Hundreds of women attended the annual dinner for Shifra VePuah in the city of Tzefat on Sunday. The organization has been helping newly delivered mothers in the city for several decades. 

Many women from Tzefat came especially to pay their respects and show their gratitude towards Shifra VePuah for its help. 

The evening began with a special show by the girls of Hakisharon Shebach, which is organized by Mrs. Chaya Marantz.

Rivky David was the emcee. A choir of young women from Tzefat sang and danced in a performance organized by Avigail Bakshi. A special video was produced about the miracles experienced by some local women in the merit of their involvement in Shifra VePuah. The video was produced by Revital Simcha Levi.

Towards the end of the event, Reb Yiftach Lusia amused everyone with his portrayal of a husband after birth.

During the evening, names were collected of donors and they were put on a large screen at the end as a gesture of thanks. Rebbitzen Rochel Hendel concluded the event by expressing her gratitude on behalf of the organization and everyone made a lechaim.

The dinner’s organizing committee was very impressed by the women’s appreciation for Shifra VePuah and their generous response.
